Sasha Vujacic to Europe?

Latest reports are saying that Los Angeles Laker Sasha Vujacic is strongly considering a jump over the pond to play in Europe next year. Vujacic averaged almost 9 points per game during the Lakers' regular season run to their first NBA Finals since the days of Shaq. Vujacic, however, is probably best known for his tantrums and the self-given nickname, "The Machine." He's indicated he'll make the jump if the Lakers don't match the European offer.

Is it just me, or does it seem like more players are jumping to Europe this year? Josh Childress is the biggest name to leave the NBA when he signed a contract to play in Greece. Some other notables who have either made the jump or are considering updating their passport include Vujacic, Primo Brezec (Raptors), Carlos Delfino (Raptors), Juan Carlos Navarro (Grizzlies), Bostjan Nachbar (Nets), and Andris Biedrins (Warriors). High School star and NBA prospect Brandon Jennings has also decided to forgo a collegiate career at Arizona in favor of signing a contract with the Italian League.

So what's the deal - is this Europe's way of getting revenge for Beckham's defection to America?
